Did you know thousands of children across the United States don’t have a bed to call their own? Over 250,000 children are placed in foster care each year, as reported by the U.S Department of Health and Human Services. Though foster homes provide a safe-haven for children in need, the unpredictable nature of the child services system means many families report they don’t have a bed for incoming kids. According to Build-A-Bed executives, a lack of suitable sleeping arrangements is a chief concern among foster families.
