| 1978 American Bathtub Liners (ABL) founded in Tempe, Arizona to offer bathtub liners to hotel and motels interested in bathroom remodeling. |
1982 ABL’s Bathtub Liner becomes the first bathtub liner tested and approved by the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC). |
| 1982 Re-Bath is founded to offer bathtub liners to homeowners interested in replacement bathtubs through a dealer network. |
1986 The company moves to new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Mesa, Arizona. |
| 1990 ABL introduces the industry’s first retrofit wall surround product line. |
1991 Re-Bath converts its residential dealership business to a franchise organization. |
| 1992 ABL changes its name to AmBath Corporation to reflect its ever-expanding bathroom remodeling product line, including bathroom vanities. |
1998 AmBath enjoys a market share of over 95% in the sale of retrofit bathtub liners and is the largest producer of bathtub liners in the world. |
| 2000 Re-Bath awards its 100th franchise, making it the largest franchise in the industry. |
2006 Re-Bath awards its 200th franchise and introduces DuraBath SSP, its new proprietary sanitaryware surface available in bathtub replacements, walk-in bathtubs, shower bases, wall surrounds and more. |
| 2009 Re-Bath expands its product offering to encompass full bathroom remodeling, including bathroom vanities, toilets and pedestal sinks, bathroom flooring and more. |
